Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at Total Workfit Solutions, Tasmania's largest injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider.
About the Role:
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and our team to provide holistic, client-centered services and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify and address workplace hazards and risks.
- Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to support injured workers in their return to work.
- Provide medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison services to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Deliver rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counselling to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Conduct vocational assessments to identify suitable work options for clients.
Requirements:
- Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA.
- Experience in occupational rehabilitation (highly desired but not essential).
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
- Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
- Current driver's license and vehicle.
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
- Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
- Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
