Total Workfit Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Tasmania.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will assist injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify and address workplace hazards.
- Participate in medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison to ensure effective case management.
- Provide rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counseling to support injured workers in their recovery.
- Conduct vocational assessments to identify suitable job opportunities for injured workers.
- Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) or full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA.
- Experience in occupational rehabilitation is highly desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done.
- Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
- Current driver's license and vehicle.
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
- Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
- Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
