About Us
We began in Melbourne in 1967 with a single store, driven by the vision to brighten up people's lives. Since then, we've grown to become a major specialist retailer of lights, ceiling fans, and light globes, with over 120 stores nationwide and a team of over 1,000 people in Australia and beyond.
The Role
In this full-time position at our Support Office in Derrimut, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Trade customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting internal departments with technical support
- Maintaining high levels of product knowledge
- Providing solutions and ensuring customer confidence in issue resolution
- Interpreting technical specification sheets provided by suppliers
- Recording information accurately to maintain spreadsheets and databases in a timely manner
- Sharing information and feedback with stakeholders on technical and product issues
- Conducting thorough fault-finding investigations on product issues raised, utilizing our in-house test lab to diagnose and identify root causes for resolution.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- An 'A' grade electrical license
- Previous experience as a domestic electrician
- Background in lighting, fan, and electrical product knowledge is highly regarded
- Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude
- Strong organizational skills and confidence in working with computers.
