Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

Are you a seasoned Project Manager looking for a new challenge in the civil infrastructure sector? Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and contribute to a variety of projects across the ACT and surrounding NSW regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including cost estimations and budgeting
  • Establish and manage construction schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with federal and local safety guidelines and standards
  • Manage on-site construction personnel, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Review and analyze project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including inspectors, architects, and construction managers
  • Coordinate the delivery of materials with vendors, ensuring timely receipt and installation
  • Generate and present project progress reports, including job status and costs

Requirements:

  • Proven Project Management experience in government civil infrastructure projects
  • Demonstrated portfolio of completed projects, showcasing expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Project Management qualifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2
  • Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office, and Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional oral and written English communication skills
  • Strong experience in civil infrastructure, with a focus on project management
