About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Infinite Consulting. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale government projects with a strong focus on ICT and design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate project plans and schedules in accordance with our project management framework, considering project interdependencies.
  • Project Design and Governance: Oversee project design, governance arrangements, and operational integration.
  • Scope Development: Develop detailed scopes for relocating basement backbone switches, building a new infrastructure LAN, and designing the internal ICT network.
  • Audit and Coordination: Conduct audits of physical cabling, identify and ensure dual connections, and coordinate condition assessments, design, and replacement of ICT backbone network equipment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, present ICT requirements, findings, and final designs.
  • Reporting and Budget Management: Report on project objectives and outputs, oversee ongoing project reporting, and manage financial budgets.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, manage, escalate, report, and monitor project risks, issues, and benefits.
  • Quality Management: Analyze project performance and ensure that project deliverables meet client needs.
  • Strategic Direction: Drive innovation, manage and lead change, and contribute to implementing our agency's strategic direction.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Engage, negotiate, and manage key strategic stakeholder relationships.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Parliamentary TV (ParlTV), ICON racks, Cyber LAN, Access Layer Passive Infrastructure, Ministerial Communications Network (MCN), Security systems, Telstra NTU, Wide Area Network (WAN), Backbone Passive Infrastructure, Access Layer Active infrastructure, and Access Layer Passive Infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, ICT design, and government project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
