Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a Defence or Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) environment.
  • Active NV1 security clearance or above.
  • Knowledge of and experience in the 1DD (one Defence) System highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field, such as a Diploma of Project Management or higher.
  • Understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2) and their application to the Defence Project Management environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leadership and management roles, with the ability to coach and guide teams in the implementation of strategy and change.
Deliverables
  • Plan, lead, and manage project activities and deliver the required project products, data, documents, and outcomes in accordance with specified scope, cost, schedule, quality, security, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report project progress, issues, risks, and variations against approved plans.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain project plans, documents, reports, and records.
  • Engage with stakeholders and establish tasking agreements.
  • Gather, consolidate, and distribute information on project activities and progress.
  • Integrate project management activities with larger program processes and reporting systems.
