Job Title: Local Area Engagement Consultant

At InvoCare, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Local Area Engagement Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our regional team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing local marketing plans that drive business growth and enhance our brand presence in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Experience & Engagement:
    • Embed and demonstrate InvoCare values and behaviours, promoting a culture of excellence and exceptional customer service.
    • Represent InvoCare positively in the community, participating in local networks and promotions to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Drive a culture of customer-centricity, ensuring our clients understand the value of our services and experience exceptional service delivery.
  • Core Growth:
    • Monitor and report on territory risks, opportunities, and competitor activity to inform strategic business decisions.
    • Develop strong business networks and relationships with key influencers and community groups to drive business growth and partnerships.
    • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to create and implement strategic local area engagement plans that align with business objectives.
  • New Growth & Innovation:
    • Develop and implement sales plans targeting new market segments in collaboration with business units to drive revenue growth and expansion.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and InvoCare policies to maintain a high level of operational excellence.
    • Promote efficiency, quality customer service, and cost-effective resource management to drive business performance and growth.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • High level of self-drive with the ability to follow structured work plans and achieve business objectives.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage across diverse demographics and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record of achieving financial performance targets within a team.
  • Strong ability to develop and maintain local business and community relationships, with a focus on building strong networks and partnerships.
  • Experience working with diverse geographical teams and the ability to travel as required to meet business needs.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders, with a focus on driving business growth and partnerships.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in the funeral/death industry or healthcare, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.
