Metal Fabrication Team Member

This role presents an excellent opportunity to work as a reliable and safety-conscious Factory Labour / Punch Operator in a leading aluminum extrusion company.
The primary responsibilities involve operating slot aluminum machinery, gantry cranes, packing long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg), and preparing materials for dispatch while adhering to safe work procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate slot aluminum machinery and gantry crane safely and efficiently
- Handle and pack long lengths of aluminum (up to 15kg) in preparation for dispatch
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Inspect materials for quality and report any defects
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with other factory duties as required
- Work day, afternoon and night casual shifts on a rotating basis (Monday to Friday)
- Competitive hourly rates: $31.19 (day shift) and $35.87 (night shift) plus overtime opportunities
- Prior experience in labouring and packing, preferably in a factory setting
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks (training will be provided)
- Willingness to follow instructions and work safely at all times
