Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and compliance for our hotel. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Finance in implementing the hotel's financial strategy effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations
    • Check financial figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and proper codes.
    • Organize and maintain all financial files, records, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
    • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records.
    • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.
    • Ensure systematic formal approval of invoices and related supporting documents from HOD and Management.
  • Financial Compliance
    • Review suppliers' accounts monthly to ensure systematic accurate payment allocation.
    • Collect on month-end pending LPOs and prepare listing of accruals for invoices not received.
    Requirements
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in hospitality.
    • Fluency in English, both written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel, Future Log, FMC, and ONEX.
    • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is preferred.
