Job Title: General Practitioner

Opportunity Overview:

We seek a skilled General Practitioner to deliver high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong background knowledge in emergency medicine and hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Specialist General Practitioner.

Key Requirements:
  • FRACGP or FACRRM
  • Advanced Skills Training in Emergency Medicine preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or advanced life support (ALS) preferred
Work Environment Highlights:

The clinic is designed for Urgent Care, featuring dedicated nursing and administration support, private urgent care triage room, dedicated treatment beds, private GP consult room, and security systems.

Treatment Capabilities:
  • Minor illnesses including respiratory illness, gastrointestinal illness, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections
  • Minor injuries including closed fractures, simple lacerations, simple eye injuries and minor burns
  • Wound management including gluing, suturing and dressings
  • Incision and drainage of abscesses
  • Basic fracture management
  • Intravenous cannula insertion
  • Urinary catheter management
  • Removal of foreign bodies from the ear and nose
  • Onsite imaging and Ultrasound
  • Onsite Pathology
Working Hours:

The clinic has extended opening hours, weekdays 8am – 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 6pm.
