Community Forensic Mental Health Specialist

We seek an experienced specialist to join our team in community forensic mental health. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care and support to individuals with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, and have a strong understanding of community-based interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans that address the individual's specific needs
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and service providers to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Providing education and training to families and carers on mental health issues and management strategies
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in psychiatry or a related field
  • Registration with the medical board and current practicing certificate
  • Experience working in community-based mental health settings

Additional Information
