Community Forensic Mental Health Specialist Role

This is a highly specialized position that requires expertise in providing high-quality psychiatric care to individuals with complex needs. We are seeking an experienced professional who can conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with forensic mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status, including their medical history, psychological profile, and social background.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide holistic care.
  • Maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including police, courts, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or related field.
  • Registered medical practitioner with current registration.
  • Experience working in forensic mental health settings, preferably in community-based roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
