Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at WorkFocus Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing effective rehabilitation plans, designing intervention programs, and empowering clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, and ergonomic assessments
Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity
Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance and independence
Identify barriers and design, implement, and monitor programs to support individuals to achieve maximal work participation
Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
Requirements:
Australian recognised degree qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA accreditation
Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways
Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
Commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers
Willingness to work in the community (must have a driver's license and access to own vehicle)
Current or able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
