Are you a skilled and experienced paralegal looking for a challenging role in the commercial property sector?

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious law firm as a Leasing & Conveyancing Paralegal.

  • Drafting retail and commercial leases and disclosure statements is a key part of this role, as well as preparation of all sale and purchase documentations, including Contract of Sale, Section 32, Vendor's Statement, Section 27, and related settlement documents for off-the-plan.
  • You will also be responsible for Property Information Searches and other searches as required, preparation of Adjustments and account for disbursements, and use of PEXA on-line settlements platform to complete settlements.
  • Filing and record-keeping are also essential aspects of this position, including opening and closing files, drafting general correspondence and documents.
Requirements
  • A qualification in Diploma of Conveyancing, Advanced Diploma of Conveyancing, or Diploma of Legal Practice, or a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role is required.
  • Experience using PEXA and Duties Online is also necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential, as well as familiarity with digital dictation, document management systems, and databases.
