About the Role

  • The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for specific trials including planning, organisation, leading, analysing and reporting.">
  • They will lead, mentor and support other members of the Integration team in their area of specialty when required.">
  • Compiling installation documents and performing platform-based trials on the submarine will be a key aspect of the role.">
  • The engineer will undertake peer reviews or checking/verification tasks as directed.">
  • Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with SHE and local processes and policies will be essential.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Significant knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering - IVV process and practices in the defence, maritime or closely linked industry is required.">
  • Knowledge of the engineering lifecycle with experience of operating in the phase relevant to the role and awareness of the entire engineering lifecycle is essential.">
  • The technical understanding of the context of their work within the overall product and platform/programme is critical.">
  • A strong working understanding of Product Safety and SHE is necessary.">
