A key opportunity has arisen to contribute to the development of judicial ethics and integrity in a hybrid work environment that prioritizes staff well-being. This role supports the legal division, working closely with the Director to promote public confidence in the courts and VCAT by establishing standards for judicial officers both inside and outside the courtroom.

The hybrid model allows staff to work from home and in our newly designed office near the court precinct, where a calm and collaborative workspace has been created. We offer easy access to state-of-the-art facilities and a comprehensive well-being program.

This liaison officer will serve as the first point of contact for inquiries and complaints from individuals or agencies involved in legal proceedings, supporting the Complaints Officer in managing these matters and collaborating with the small legal team, external stakeholders, and complainants.

Additionally, this role involves assisting with communication and educational functions by developing an understanding of commission activities and the broader legal sector, including making referrals to other relevant agencies when necessary.
