Product Sourcing Specialist

e.g. Product sourcing specialists play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal assortment of goods is available at the right time and place.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, with exceptional organisational and time management skills. They will collaborate closely with merchants to identify effective product ranges, support supplier partnerships, plan trade decisions to drive sales, and assist in inventory forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with merchants to identify the most suitable product assortments for their categories
  • Support supplier partnership efforts aimed at optimising in-stock and inventory objectives
  • Plan and collaborate with cross-functional partners for trade decisions to drive sales
  • Assist in inventory forecasting in conjunction with merchants and suppliers

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate attention to detail, enthusiasm for uncovering data-driven insights, and confidence working with digital tools. A deep understanding of retail operations, particularly in large-format stores with extensive product ranges, is also essential.
