We are looking for a skilled and dedicated equipment technician to join our high performing team in Newcastle, NSW. As an equipment technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of automatic doors, roller shutters, and gates across a range of properties from low-rise housing to the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending breakdowns on automatic doors, roller shutters, and gates
  • Installing automatic door shopfronts
  • Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality, and safety standards
  • Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Auto door, roller shutter or gates industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Exposure to breakdowns is highly advantageous
  • ELECTRONIC / MECHANICAL MINDSET REQUIRED
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
  • Availability to work away
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE MINDSET ESSENTIAL
  • EWP/ Working at heights licence preferred but not essential
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ABILITY TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM
  • FULL DRIVERS LICENCE REQUIRED
