Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to provide personal care services to aged care clients. This role involves assisting with medications and mobility goals, as well as supporting therapy goals as part of rehabilitation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to clients, including getting them out of bed, showered, and dressed.
  • Assist clients with medications and mobility goals; support therapy goals as part of rehabilitation.
  • Deliver complex care for clients with high care needs, including those with dementia, and offer social and emotional support.
  • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and support family carers to take breaks.
  • Provide home help services, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing).
  • Australian Driver's Licence and a roadworthy vehicle.
  • Experience in a similar role, with skills in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • Proof of vaccination against various infectious diseases.
