Material Handling Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team in Canberra. This is a full-time permanent position.

  • Ensure all incoming goods and equipment are catalogued, photographed, and uploaded to our system accurately and within the required timeframe.
  • Unload goods from delivery trucks using a forklift, as needed.
  • Loading sold goods onto delivery trucks or transporting assets out for delivery to buyers, occasionally utilizing a forklift.
  • Assist in setting up the auction and sale yards by relocating assets around the yard in preparation for the monthly auction.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A valid forklift license with a capacity exceeding 4500kg.
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer service to vendors and buyers by accurately cataloging stock and upon delivery of assets to buyers.
  • Familiarity with WHS policies and procedures.
