Job Description:

The Multiskilled Operations Assistant will be required to work as part of a team, maintaining high standards in safety, reliability, and customer service at all times. This position involves working on various tasks that require flexibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely moor and secure vessels, following crew instructions;
  • Ensure passenger safety during boarding and disembarking processes, including assistance with electric wheelchairs;
  • Assist ferry crews, operational staff, and check-in personnel to facilitate smooth operations and transfers of passengers, vehicles, and stores;
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning duties in the passenger terminal and wharf area.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong work ethic, reliability, flexibility, and excellent team player skills. You should also possess exceptional communication and organisational abilities. A suitable level of fitness is necessary to cope with the physical demands of the job.
