**Job Opportunity:** Aged Care Assistant

Challenger is a national industry leader, providing outsourced service solutions to critical industries. Our prime coverage is within Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

We are seeking enthusiastic and results-driven individuals to work as aged care assistants in premier facilities located in The Hills region. Previous experience working in an Aged Care environment is beneficial but not necessary.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of day-to-day cleaning operations and assisting the team
  • Supporting the quality of life of elderly residents and making a positive impact on their wellbeing
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, including front of house and back of house areas
  • Following schedules and Standard Operating Procedures

**Requirements:

  • Availability to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday shifts commencing at 7am
  • Prior experience as a Supervisor in commercial and/or housekeeping environments is advantageous
  • Good understanding of safety elements associated with the job
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe handling
  • Valid police check and NDIS Workers Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Good presentation and grooming
  • Sound communication skills
