Business Growth Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Economic Development team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting and developing local businesses in Merri-bek.

About the Role:

The Business Growth Specialist role focuses on delivering training and development seminars for businesses, networking events, connecting businesses into growth opportunities, and sourcing business relevant information.

You will work closely with the Economic Development team and other stakeholders to facilitate support for businesses to enable them to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and run business support & training, and networking events
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Sources and disseminate business relevant information
  • Support businesses to enable them to grow and develop

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or sufficient relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in business growth and development
  • Sound commercial acumen and business expertise
