You will work closely with advanced clinical trainees to perform acute respiratory assessments, review medical history and treatment plans, and communicate complex clinical information with patients both in-clinic and via virtual care appointments.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to make a real impact as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting to reduce unnecessary Emergency Department presentations and facilitating smooth discharges for the appropriate patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform acute respiratory assessments and reviews
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in Acute Care Nursing (preferably Respiratory) as a registered nurse
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
