Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Technician Our valued client, a leading electro-mechanical business, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Technician to join their team of professionals on a full-time and permanent basis. The role includes:- Diagnosing, identifying, and replacing faulty or worn components, including seals, bearings, windings, etc.- Ensuring adherence to appropriate measuring, testing, and preparation procedures for all plant, machinery, and associated components in accordance with relevant industry/company standards and specifications.- Utilizing appropriate drawings and specifications to ensure that the disassembly and assembly of plant, machinery, and associated components are completed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications as per clients' requirements.- Assembling and installing motor/associated equipment to relevant specifications.- Ensuring that correct parts and materials are used in accordance with relevant plans and that all work proceeds within the scope of works and work schedules.- Working in cooperation with other personnel to ensure that all work is performed professionally, competently, in a timely manner, and as instructed.- Supervising the work of apprentices/trainees/trade assistants in their various roles, installations, and procedures.- Reporting any inability to comply with the scope of works/work schedule to supervisor.- Adhering to all OHS policies and procedures of the company and any specific on-site OHS conditions.- Maintaining all personal and company-owned equipment and tools in a clean and good working condition and arranging for the replacement of any damaged or faulty equipment. To be considered for this role, you must have the following:- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.- Strong communication skills.- Strong diagnostic abilities.- Self-motivated, organized, punctual, and reliable.- Great work ethics.- Great attention to detail. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team and advance your career as a mechanical trades assistant and/or motor winder.
