Workshop Opportunity
">We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workshop Technician to join our team.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics, with experience working on a variety of equipment.
">This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes initiative, is proactive, and has a positive attitude.
">You will be responsible for performing mechanical tasks, including dismantling, cleaning, repairing, testing, and assembling equipment.
">Additionally, you will be required to record maintenance and test certificates, receive and dispatch orders, maintain stock records, and perform visual inspections.
">If you have a passion for mechanics, are comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and are looking for a stable career, this could be the perfect role for you.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Dismantle, clean, repair, test, and assemble equipment">
- Record maintenance and test certificates">
- Receive and dispatch orders">
- Maintain stock records">
- Maintain workshop maintenance records">
- Perform visual inspections and assist with preventative maintenance">
- Comply with Integrated Management Systems requirements">
- Workshop housekeeping duties">
- Assist daily toolbox meetings">
- Assist with coordinating schedules and jobs within the workshop">
Required Skills:
">- Experience working on mechanical equipment (formal trade qualification not essential)">
- Proactive attitude, taking the initiative in the role">
- Decent computer literacy">
- Team player">
- Punctual and well-organised">
- Willingness to learn">
- Forklift license">
- Knowledge of pumps (desirable)">
