Job Title: Automation Test Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Analyst to join our team. As an Automation Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using various technologies such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycles, including testing and deployment. You should also have experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like GIT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test automation best practices.

About the Role:

This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension. The ideal candidate will have Australian citizenship and be based in Brisbane, Queensland.

Requirements:

  • Experience with engineered Open-Source test automation development using best practices and design patterns.
  • Solid ability to deliver engineered automation rather than record and playback techniques.
  • Experience in scripted languages such as Python, JavaScript or Ruby.
  • Experience in object-oriented languages such as Java or C#.
  • Demonstrable understanding of Selenium WebDriver, HTML DOM structures, Robust locator selection and programmatic REST based API automation.
  • Understanding of or experience in test driven or behaviour driven development.
  • Hands on experience developing Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and implement innovative solutions.
  • Version control with GIT and a good understanding of branching and merging.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
