Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Framework Developer to assist in providing efficient, effective and repeatable test coverage for our ICT project deliverables leveraging test automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing automation frameworks, developing automated test scripts, and documenting test plans in line with our organisational strategy.

About the Role

This role involves working on the creation, maintenance and enhancement of automation framework(s), using SA's test automation tools to develop automated test scripts, and documenting automation test plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills, as well as strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Create, maintain and enhance automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective test coverage.
  2. Develop automated test scripts using SA's test automation tools to leverage various frameworks.
  3. Document automation test plans in line with our organisational strategy.
  4. Provide feedback and reports on estimates of testing effort and progress suitable for project management and planning activities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in testing with at least 1 year within Test Automation.
  • Formal training in testing theory or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience testing in a large, complex ICT environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
