The Position

As a Teacher of Flooring Technology, you will be responsible for delivering educational programs and facilitating learning to enable students to achieve their desired outcomes. The role involves a range of activities that directly and indirectly support learning through the delivery of educational programs.

About You

You possess extensive industry experience in Flooring Technology and are passionate about sharing your knowledge with the next generation of student learners. You understand current and emerging industry skills in this high-risk profession and can impart your technical skills and the industry standard safety culture to your students.

Key Requirements

  • Certificate III in Flooring Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate of Proficiency (desired)
  • Three years relevant post-qualification industry experience within the last 3-5 years, with at least one year's experience in an Australian workplace context
  • Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent qualification

For casual positions, you need a visa that gives you permission to work in Australia. A suitability list may be created for this position, and future opportunities with position(s) of the same classification that subsequently become vacant may be filled using this suitability list which will be valid for three years.
