Early Childhood Education Career Starter

This role is ideal for individuals seeking a position in early childhood education and care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Upon completion of the 12-month traineeship, you will receive a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education. This qualification will provide a solid foundation for further career progression within the sector.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Contributing to program development and implementation
  • Assisting room leaders and staff with daily tasks, such as cleaning, meal preparation, and activity setup
  • Supervising children during indoor and outdoor experiences
  • Engaging children in meaningful learning experiences

This part-time position includes weekly study allocated during the working week. There is potential for a full-time or casual role upon completion of the traineeship.

Key Qualifications:

A valid Working with Children Check is required for this role. You will also need to demonstrate a passion for working with young children and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
