About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Leader to join our afternoon shift team at our award-winning facility. As a key member of our production team, you will provide operational leadership, organization, and support to ensure the successful execution of production goals and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership to the afternoon shift production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high-quality standards, and safety.
  • Develop and implement improvement initiatives and projects to increase productivity, motivate and encourage team members to improve efficiencies, training, and accuracy in task performance.
  • Ensure the team meets scheduled demands to satisfy customer requirements, manage labor efficiently, and strategically plan labor allocation.
  • Lead weekly toolbox meetings and foster a culture where production staff are actively engaged in improvement activities and production targets.
About You
  • You will have a good working knowledge of all production workstations and tasks in assembly, effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and a results-oriented approach with a proactive attitude.
  • You will be able to work under pressure and to time constraints, possess high-level written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and have strong, confident leadership skills.
  • You will be able to use computer technology, manage change effectively, and uphold Philmac policy and values.
