Digital Risk Management Professional

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in helping our esteemed clients assess and enhance the efficacy of their risk management processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting thorough audits, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • You will engage with leading financial services clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing a diverse range of experiences.
  • You will leverage cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence to evaluate and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems.
  • You will tap into EY's extensive global network to discover and implement solutions that address our clients' most pressing challenges and facilitate their paths to transformation.
  • Your role will involve researching and analysing our clients' needs to identify and assess potential issues within the regulatory framework.
  • You will work with large datasets to uncover insights, drawing on your experience in risk analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment frameworks, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
  • A proven track record of maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, as well as identifying business development opportunities.
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is essential.
  • Good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring, and offboarding.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
