Physiotherapist Opportunity in Community Aged Care

Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised/group physiotherapy services and activities to improve the well-being of clients in their own homes. The role involves assessing, planning and delivering services across our Wellness Hubs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist looking for a varied role in Community Aged Care on a Part-Time permanent basis.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients physical and functional abilities to gain an understanding of their needs
  • Developing and delivering individualised or group treatment plans based on clients' needs, goals, and preferences
  • Implementing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to address mobility issues, pain management, and other age-related conditions
  • Regularly assessing and reporting on the physical and psychosocial capabilities of clients to care management team

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Post Graduate Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage all aspects of compliance
  • Demonstrated experience with multidisciplinary team working
  • Effective time management skills to ensure patient intervention, reports and outcomes are achieved in a timely manner and the ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work/caseload
