About the Role

Paraway Pastoral is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for providing support and development of key business systems that support contractors, including People, Safety, Contractor Management, and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish consultation groups with functional SMEs and business users to provide feedback on current capabilities and future needs.
  • Analyze and map the current system and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with external vendors and functional teams to develop and design system solutions and workflows.
  • Create detailed technical specifications and documentation for system development, integration, and testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and performance meet requirements.
  • Oversee the deployment of modifications and provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in project planning and management, including verification of project scope, timelines, and resources.
  • Support and troubleshoot technical issues relating to key business systems.
  • Prepare user manuals and system documentation, and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar Business Systems Analyst or Technical Business Analyst role.
  • Experience with WHS/HSEQ, Contractor Management, and Risk & Compliance systems highly regarded.
  • Hold a current unencumbered driver's license and willingness and availability for occasional travel.
  • Strong vendor management experience and the ability to translate and influence system direction and enhancements.
  • Technical skills in SQL and system integration.
  • Personable and relatable personality and strong business acumen.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex systems and processes.
  • The ability to work to non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
