We are seeking a dedicated Allied Health Professional to join our team of compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals. As an integral part of our Clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to seniors across Western Australia.
Job Description:
As an Allied Health Professional, you will be responsible for assessing the allied health needs of residents, developing individualized allied health programs, and partnering with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of residents' allied health needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
- Develop and implement individualized allied health programs that cater to the unique needs and goals of each resident.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans, providing expert advice and guidance to front-line staff as needed.
- Promote a positive ageing experience by fostering a culture of respect, dignity, and compassion within our organization.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology).
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience working in aged care, preferably in a clinical or leadership role.
- Sound understanding of complex care needs and dementia care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and families.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
