Construction Supervisor Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our Traffic Network Services team in Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, traffic signals installation and maintenance, and project management.

  • Lead TNS Traffic Signals Construction nightworks staff to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Set performance standards, provide feedback, and support development.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and resource utilisation.
  • Develop and implement safety and quality plans.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manage drawings and inspection plans.
  • Utilise IT systems for efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current Queensland Electrical licence.
  • Effective leadership skills, providing clear direction and ongoing feedback to teams.
  • Proficiency in Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental, and quality policies, including understanding of EEO practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a night shift supervisory role, serving as a point of contact for Civil and Electrical Construction teams.
  • Project management experience, including resource allocation and risk assessment.
  • Expertise in Traffic Signals installation and maintenance, meeting standards.
  • Understanding of Electrical Safety Act 2002 and AS/NZS 3000, Wiring Rules.
  • Knowledge of labour, equipment, and material deployment for efficient resource utilisation.
  • Proficiency in AustRoads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
