Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nightworks Construction Supervisor to lead our Traffic Signals Construction nightworks staff in ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting performance standards, providing feedback, and supporting development. They will also monitor and report on project progress and resource utilisation, develop and implement safety and quality plans, conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards, manage drawings and inspection plans, and utilise IT systems for efficient operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Queensland Electrical licence
  • Effective leadership skills, providing clear direction and ongoing feedback to teams
  • Proficiency in Workplace Health and Safety, Environmental, and quality policies, including understanding of EEO practices
  • Ability to work autonomously in a night shift supervisory role, serving as a point of contact for Civil and Electrical Construction teams
  • Project management experience, including resource allocation and risk assessment
  • Expertise in Traffic Signals installation and maintenance, meeting standards
  • Understanding of Electrical Safety Act 2002 and AS/NZS 3000, Wiring Rules
  • Knowledge of labour, equipment, and material deployment for efficient resource utilisation
  • Proficiency in AustRoads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management
