Job Title: Student Services Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Student Services Coordinator to lead wellbeing initiatives and support students in navigating social, emotional, behavioural, and academic challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead wellbeing initiatives and reward programs that celebrate student success.
  • Support students in navigating social, emotional, behavioural, and academic challenges through effective communication, behaviour management skills, and restorative practices.
  • Coordinate key school events and contribute to the smooth daily operation of Student Services.
  • Guide students through important transitions, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Engage every student in learning opportunities to help them achieve their personal best and develop life skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Genuine interest in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice.
  • Resilience, empathy, and the ability to manage competing priorities calmly.
  • Collaborative approach to problem-solving and the creativity to design innovative solutions for safe, supportive, and positive school communities.
