Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a casual support worker to provide tailored, person-centred care to individuals living with disability in Albury.

The successful candidate will be required to work across various programs, including independent living and lifestyle programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and reassuring during unpredictable situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily personal care routines, including bathing, shaving, and toileting
  • Assist clients with high medical and complex needs using de-escalation techniques
  • Track and document clients' changing needs while fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and fellow team members

Requirements:

  • Hold an unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Demonstrated competency in basic technology usage on mobile and desktop platforms
  • A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
