Job Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Specialist to join our team in General Medicine, with a particular interest in Respiratory Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform clinical services for inpatients admitted under the general medicine service.
  • Provide specialist consultation within your field, including provision of outpatient services.
  • Participate in after-hours services and rosters in general medicine.
  • Provide clinical leadership to junior colleagues.
About You:
  • You hold a Primary Medical Degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
  • You have demonstrated experience and qualification(s) in General Medicine.
  • You possess the capacity for clinical leadership, commitment to undergraduate and post-graduate teaching, and willingness to participate in clinical research.
  • You understand the principles of clinical governance to promote quality and safety in healthcare.
  • You have demonstrated oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
