Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydraulics Technician to join our team at Bosch Rexroth.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Rebuilding and testing hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and wheel drives
  • Performing fault-finding diagnosis and reporting on workshop-based projects
  • Refurbishing hydraulic power units
  • Studying system requirements and developing proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernization topics
  • Ordering and gathering components, performing tests, and identifying further repairs
  • Maintaining customer confidentiality
  • Preparing service quotations and following up with customers
  • Uploading relevant internal service documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports
  • Ensuring quality control through documenting tests and installations, including supplying customer documentation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Mechanical Trade, Fitter/Turner and/or Fluid Power certificate
  • Demonstrable high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair
  • Ability to work unsupervised, committed, and Reliable
  • High focus on Quality and attention to detail
  • Conversant in Microsoft office applications
  • Effective communication skills
