We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Component Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for rebuilding and testing hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and wheel drives.

About the Role

This is an hourly-based position with reasonable overtime opportunities. You will work collaboratively in a diverse and respectful team environment. Our company offers flexible working hours, a clean work environment, and comprehensive training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and test hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and wheel drives
  • Perform fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting on workshop-based projects
  • Refurbish hydraulic power units
  • Study system requirements and develop proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernization topics
  • Order and gather components, perform tests, and identify further repairs
  • Maintain customer confidentiality
  • Prepare service quotations and follow up with customers
  • Upload all relevant internal service documentation
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
  • Mechanical Trade, Fitter/Turner and/or Fluid Power certificate
  • High-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair
  • Ability to work unsupervised, committed, and Reliable
  • Focused on Quality and attention to detail
  • Conversant in Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective communication skills

The estimated salary for this position is around $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
