Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician Specialist to join our team at DOWN UNDER AUTO SERVICES PTY LTD.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong technical skills and experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance to take their career to the next level.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicle engines, transmissions, and components to identify mechanical and electrical faults. They will diagnose issues using advanced technical knowledge and tools, and then perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

This role also involves routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids, oils, and lubricating parts, as well as testing and adjusting mechanical parts after repair to ensure proper performance.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with customers to explain problems and provide solutions, while also working collaboratively with colleagues to meet workplace goals.

Requirements
  • Trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of AU $60,000 - AU $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
