Mathematics Educator Opportunity
This is a part-time (.6 FTE) role, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and be able to effectively communicate them to students.
- Develop and Implement Engaging Lesson Plans: Cater to different learning styles by creating interactive and challenging lesson plans that promote student engagement and motivation.
- Assess Student Progress and Provide Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Maintain a Safe and Inclusive Learning Environment: Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment that promotes social inclusion and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics to high school students, grades 8 & 9.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to effectively communicate them to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
