Job Opportunity: Maths and Science Instructor

We are seeking a skilled maths and science instructor to deliver engaging lessons to students in years 10, 11, and 12.

  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach a range of maths and science subjects, including general maths, middle school maths, secondary maths, and science.
  • They will be responsible for working with students from years 8-12 in a co-educational P-12 school or senior school environment.
  • A strong understanding of teaching methodologies and the ability to adapt to different learning styles is essential.

Teaching Responsibilities:

  • To design and deliver engaging maths and science lessons that cater to the needs of students in years 10, 11, and 12.
  • To assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, or Education.
  • Hold (or be eligible for) QCT registration.
  • Have working rights in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in teaching maths and science subjects at a high school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
