Job Opportunity: Secondary Music Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled secondary music educator to join our school community. The successful candidate will teach music stages 4-5, develop and implement effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of contemporary evidence-based learning principles and the ability to promote student learning outcomes. They will also have a clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education, actively supporting the ethos and culture of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Music Stage 4-5
  • Develop and implement effective assessment practices and quality teaching programs
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and members of the wider community to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes

Requirements:

  • Qualifications as a four-year trained teacher
  • Active NESA Accreditation
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training
  • Completion of CPR training
