Strata Accounts Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strata Accounts professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Managing Director and focused on accounting duties rather than administration tasks.
  • Calculating and verifying opening & closing balances on takeovers and lost plans.
  • Management of loan facilities for owners corporations, including principal and interest allocation.
  • Managing the accounting timetable, including levy runs, monthly financial checking, and issuance of S184 certificates.
  • End-of-month transfer of management fees and charges.
  • Handling the GST clearing account and all GST-related issues.
  • Management of expense allocation within multi-tiered budgets for BMC schemes and large strata schemes.
  • Reconciliation of key bonds/deposits.
  • Preparing financial accounts for submission to auditors and dealing with auditor queries.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Strata accounts or similar industry.
  • Able to operate autonomously and well-organized.
  • An interest in Strata or property is desirable.
  • Live within an easy commute of Parramatta.
