Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • This includes working rotating day/night shifts, consisting of 12-hour periods with 4 days on and 4 days off.
  • A valid forklift license and basic computer skills are essential for this role.
  • Additionally, the Production Operator must adhere to safety, environmental and food safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Prior experience in food processing is highly regarded, along with strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Responsibilities

The Production Operator will be responsible for:

  • Operating machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintaining high productivity levels to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A valid forklift license and basic computer skills.
