About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our Daily Banking Tribe Leadership Team within the Retail Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, designing, and strategy-setting for customer experiences that align with our foundational customer obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and resolve issues and incidents affecting our private individual retail clients.
  • Monitor and ensure that customer activities and decisions remain within our risk appetite.
  • Oversee and lead customer data quality improvement initiatives to ensure obligations dependent on customer data can be met.
  • Design and coordinate business principles for retail customers related to our key foundational customer processes.
  • Optimize customer obligations experiences and journeys with a customer and commercial lens, providing input to our KYC Tribe to drive business impact.
  • Control and governance of our product suite within established risk control frameworks, reporting, event, and issue management, and audit.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in banking product, risk, or governance and service.
  • Experience in articulating strategy and setting strategic direction with others.
  • Understanding of KYC, Data Governance, Financial Services Regulatory landscape, and obligations.
  • Experience in product design or process improvement and operational efficiency programs with a customer experience focus.
  • Demonstrable experience leading or influencing changes to products and customer journeys to improve governance, compliance, or health of customer due diligence portfolios.
  • Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research techniques.
  • Experience leading a team and/or working as part of a squad within an Agile working environment.
