We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Western Australia.
The successful candidates will work on a variety of equipment including Sandvik trucks, drills and loaders, Normet charge rigs, CAT graders and Volvo integrated tool carriers.
Key Responsibilities- Fault-finding, servicing and breakdown repairs of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Preventative maintenance and defect repairs of plant and equipment.
- Scope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment, including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the job.
- Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic qualification (essential).
- A minimum of 2 years' post-trade underground experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environment.
- Current Valid Manual Driver's License (essential) and ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs.
- Strong knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures and explosives handling.
- Strong diagnostic, maintenance, and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
